Island Peak Climbing, also referred to as Imja Tse, is a 6,189m/20,305ft tall mountain in Nepal’s eastern Himalayas, the height falls in Sagarmatha park which also hosts the famous Everest Region. once you view the height from Dingboche, it appears as if it an island surrounded by a sea of ice. Our 16-day-long Imja Peak expedition aims to require you to the highest of the Island peak through a number of the foremost challenging parts of the Everest region. From Kathmandu to Lukla, we trek to Phakding then to Namche Bazaar. We take an acclimatization day of rest in Namche and trek further on to Tengboche then to Dingboche and eventually to Chukkung where we take another acclimatization day rest. From checking we trek to the Island Peak Base Camp and stay there a subsequent day for pre-climb training. On the 12th day of the expedition, we summit Island Peak. The climb takes 10-12 hours. albeit challenging and strenuous, the climb is rewarding. Glorious views of Ama Dablam, Makalu, Baruntse, and Lhotse alongside a stunning spread of the Khumbu Himalaya from the highest of Island Peak are some things to cherish forever. We then trek from Pangboche to Namche to Lukla and take a flight back to Kathmandu. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu When you will land at the international airport in Kathmandu then there will one person from our company to take-off you. You will directly drive towards the hotel to check out. At night you will meet your guide and counsel about the trip. And have our dinner. Day 02: Fly to Lukla then trekking to Phakding (2,652m) 3-4 hours Having breakfast in the hotel, we will slowly drive towards the airport to a scenic fly towards Lukla which is also known as the gateway of the Everest region. From Lukla, we will start our trekking on foot. We will slowly walk towards Phakding where we will spend one night. Day 03: Trekking to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 hours The trail follows ascending through Himalayan pine and cedar forests. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain which is one of the highest mountains in the world Mt Everest. On the route, we will have our lunch and slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night. Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar This day is for the rest day that’s why we don’t start our trekking. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore all around the Namche Bazaar. On this day, we will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which feels better and mental makeup for further trekking or journey. Day 05: Trekking to Tengboche (3,870m) 5- 6 hours Today on a trail to an even higher elevation and the main attraction is a monastery situated at the highest altitude in the world. We will have a wonderful view of the mountain beautiful landscape of this route and spend one night. Day 06: Trekking to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5 to 6 hours Our trail descends and passes through the lush forest of birch. On the route, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and the beautiful landscape. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Dingboche where we will spend one night. Day 07: Trekking to Chhukung (4,730m) 3-4 hours The trail gently goes up from Dingboche on a wide valley without green trees and forests. The trail ahead is intersected by icy streams. We get ourselves ready to double-check our equipment for our summit day. And we will spend one night in this wonderful land of Chhukung. Day 08:  Rest day in Chhukung This day is for the rest day that’s why we don’t start our trekking. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore all around Chhukung. On this day, we will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which feels better and mental makeup for further trekking or journey. Day 09: Trekking to Island Peak Base camp (5,200m) 3-4 hours The path from Chhukung leads a fairly steep way climbing south then turning east to the main line of the valley. A crisscross route through the Ijma and Lhotse glacier moraines leads to a wide valley flanking the SW side of the Island peak. Day 10: Island Peak Summit (6,189m), back to base camp 10-12 hours We will move trekking to Island Peak High Camp and the path leads up beyond base camp for several hundred meters before striking off left up against the steep hillside. This is not so difficult but there are several short rock steps to climb before we emerge on the right side of the gully. After completing summit Island Peak, we will back to base camp where we will spend one night. Day 11: Trekking to Pangboche (3,985m) 5-6 hours This will be one of the most difficult yet rewarding days of the trek and the ascent is demanding but the climber gets the magnificent mountain views. We will walk on a fairly steep trail at a comfortable pace. Day 12: Trekking to Namche Bazaar 4-5 hours This day trekking trail slightly goes uphill to Namche Bazaar. We will have an opportunity to explore the beautiful valley of the route. We will pass through the lush forest, a beautiful valley, and get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain. Day 13: Trekking to Lukla 6-7 hours This is the last day trekking in the Everest region where we will walk from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. The trail passes through pine, oak, and rhododendron forest. We will also pass through many suspension bridges before reaching Lukla where we will spend one night. Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu In the morning, if the hotel is able to make breakfast then we will have our breakfast and slowly move towards the local airport of Lukla to fly towards Kathmandu valley. Upon reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar and spend one night in this wonderful valley. Day 15: Final departure We will drop you at the international airport with the hope that you have a wonderful day in our small country.
